This Advanced Extremities Manipulation course is designed to further develop the concepts, ideas, practical techniques and their applications to a more advanced level beyond the basic level, using the minimal lever mid range approach. Participants will have the opportunity to revisit the underlying principles, ask theoretical, practical and clinical questions that need further explanation and clinical reasoning.
The practical side will focus on the joints of the upper and lower extremities (AC, GH, SC, Elbow, Forearm, Wrist, Hand, Hip, Knee, Ankle & Feet joints). These techniques will be presented with explanations of when to use clinically and technically. In addition techniques for the ribs will be introduced with the patient in a range of varying positions on the treatment table. Common differential diagnosis will be discussed with regard to rib pain.
Most of this course will be practical (up to 80%) and participants will have a good understanding of the minimal lever mid range approach with a good range of skills that they will be able to apply in clinical practice following the course.
